President & CEO SOS International Denise is a global health expert and progressive business leader with wemonstrated success in the development and execution of innovative growth strategies and performance improvement plans in both for-profit and non-profit sectors.

Ms. Burnett leads the Task Force for Global Health TEPHINET Accreditation and Quality Improvement team. She enjoys working closely with the Accreditation Working Group and educating program directors about accreditation in creative and interactive ways. She joined TEPHINET from the CDC Foundation, where she was a Senior Program Officer specializing in PEPFAR, among a larger portfolio of public health projects.

Chris is a passionate leader focused on increasing global healthcare access and serving the world’s most vulnerable populations. Chris has dedicated his life and career to consistently champion the cause of the medically underserved, both domestically and internationally.

Josh specializes in helping mission-driven organizations tackle the challenges that come with growth, transition, and everything in between. He has been leading nonprofit organizations and programs since 2000, with a focus on the MedSurplus sector since 2005. Whether crafting strategic plans, filling leadership gaps, or rolling up his sleeves to manage day-to-day operations, Josh steps in wherever he’s needed to make a meaningful impact.

Kits4Life Advisory Council Chair

Folz is a 30-year veteran of the life sciences industry where he has overseen the conduct of more than 800 clinical trials. Recognized as one of the Top 20 Innovators in the research industry in 2018, Folz is also a recipient of the Innovation Award for the Society for Clinical Research Sites for his creation of an international nonprofit program to enable the life sciences industry to repurpose surplus clinical trials supplies for humanitarian aid in underserved regions.

Skilled in building operational strategies, optimizing programs, and delivering impactful community solutions. Proven success in leading diverse teams, mentoring talent, and aligning stakeholders around shared goals. Key achievements include developing multi-year strategic plans, onboarding 250+ interns, and launching leadership and community initiatives that strengthened engagement and performance. Passionate about operational excellence, clear communication, and collaborative problem-solving. Always open to connecting with professionals who value strategy, efficiency, and innovation.

Standards and Accreditation Committee

The MedSurplus Alliance Standards & Accreditation Committee provides volunteer oversight for the development and management of the Alliance’s standards and accreditation programs, materials, and activities.

 

The committee’s primary role is to ensure responsible, transparent, and fair processes in both committee proceedings and the administration of the accreditation program.

Kits4Life Advisory Council

The Kits4Life Advisory Council provides guidance, advocacy, and strategic support to expand access to repurposed surplus medical supplies and equipment for medical and educational programs through the Kits4Life initiative.

Comprised of leaders from leading companies and organizations in the life sciences sector, the council brings valuable expertise and insight into the availability and responsible reuse of surplus medical supplies, supporting the mission of the MedSurplus Alliance and its partners.
