Accredited Organizations

MedSurplus Organizations turn surplus into impact, processing and delivering quality-assured medical supplies to support recipient partners in communities near and far.

The MedSurplus Alliance currently accredits nine organizations across North America, Europe, and Australia, representing a trusted network committed to the highest standards of quality and accountability.

For donors and recipient partners alike, MedSurplus Alliance accreditation provides assurance that medical supplies are handled with the highest level of quality, accountability, and care.

Accredited MedSurplus Organizations (Medical Surplus Recovery Ogranizations) meet rigorous standards for processing surplus medical products, ensuring they are safe, appropriate, and effectively delivered to trusted partners both domestically and internationally.

With nine accredited organizations across North America, Europe, and Australia, MSA offers a reliable network that donors can trust and recipient partners can depend on to deliver meaningful, measurable impact.

What is a MedSurplus Organization?

A MedSurplus Organization (also known as a Medical Surplus Recovery Organization, or MSRO) collects, processes, and redistributes surplus medical supplies, equipment, and medications as part of its medical aid mission.

In many communities, access to medical care is limited not because of a lack of trained providers, but because local healthcare facilities lack the supplies, medicines, and equipment needed to deliver that care. MedSurplus Organizations help close this gap.

Working with healthcare systems, manufacturers, and distributors, these organizations recover high-quality, but unneeded medical resources that would otherwise go to waste. Through rigorous sorting and quality assurance processes, they ensure these supplies are safe and appropriate for use.

By delivering these resources to trusted recipient partners, both domestically and globally, MedSurplus Organizations expand access to care, strengthen health systems, and improve outcomes for communities in need.
