The MedSurplus Alliance is a program of The Task Force for Global Health, an independent, nongovernmental organization based in Decatur, GA, USA, with field offices in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and Guatemala City, Guatemala.
MedSurplus Alliance operates under the guidance of a cross-sector Leadership Council that includes medical surplus recovery organization leaders and stakeholders from the healthcare, private, public, manufacturing and academic sectors.

The MedSurplus Alliance Standards & Accreditation Committee provides oversight to the MSA Standards and Accreditation programs. The committee and application reviewers operate independently of the MSA Leadership Council and MSA programs to help ensure an unbiased review process.
